Well, it's LF's 4th birthday today - WOW! My big boy is four. And like every mother before me, I'm wondering how did that happen? It hardly seems that long ago when I was going into hospital to have him. Still remember it clear as day. Hard work (induced Fri morning, not born til Sat night), but worth it. And he's been hard work ever since! HA! Well, and worth it too, of course. Lovely sweet thing that he is. We're just doing family stuff today, and he's having a little party on Sunday afternoon. Mum's job? To make a "Lightning McQueen" cake. Oh boy, there's a challenge! (for Sunday. Today he's getting a plain round chocolate cake!).

Need to do this: One long cool drink of water on the rocks, please!

There's this:

It's Josh's birthday too! He was born the day man set foot on the moon (or did he? HA!), and is still gorgeous!

Last night was the finale of LOST here, and ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH, as I've said before, and will no doubt say again. Sawyer was sexy as hell (what else is new? *grin*), especially when he got darted and was writhing all over the place (I know, I'm a sick puppy).

Been working quite hard at work for the most part. Be proud of me. Also, had a Baby Photo Competition there over the last few weeks, which I've been running, and there were 24 pics of staff members as young children or babies, including me. It's been a laugh running it and seeing everyone's bad (and some good) guesses. Only ONE person got me! I sure fooled them by putting in a colour one of me when I was about 2 months old. No hair, so no cheating by the red! Oh, I slay me.

Right, that's about my lot. Once again, haven't been putting my nose into the flist for a while, so must get to that when I can, SOON! Sorry if I've missed anything important, everyone. Love to all! *waves*

And you've made me see him and Ren dancing!!!

Thanks! Yeah, my kids often seem to get two cakes. I don't even remember having one for most birthdays as a child... although I must have, I suppose??? Who knows, must ask my mum.

Oh, and I was such a Bee-ootiful baby too ;-)

Now you have to share your piccie!

We had birthday rules in our house. You get your favorite breakfast, and the cake of your choice. Both sis and I are December babies (one year apart!). With Christmas it was too much to have parties every year, so we traded off years for parties. In a non-party year you got to invite 1-2 friends out to a restaurant dinner. Oy! Parents had to make sure everything was very fair, or there was whining!

Ah, well, if I must, but it's still on the wall at work right now. When I take it down, I will try and remember to scan it and post for you!

I really don't remember EVER having a b'day party til I was 21. Maybe I had one, I just don't know... sad story, but true!
