I'm actually going to bed, so WTF I'm writing here for, I have no idea. Just thought I'd tell you I flagged the stupid $4 and fudged the audit. It just wasn't worth the effort for freakin' $4. And that's Kiwi$, not even Aussie$ (ie, worth half that in most other places). I mean??? The client won't know. It was in her favour, and the only issue will be if it gets audited, which it shouldn't as I didn't have to alter the computer record in any way. 'Sides, my QA said it was okay, wasn't worth the $ they pay me to search any more.



I lay on my bed for 10 mins before racing around like a headless chook, so although I didn't sleep, it was a teensy rest... and then I got my get up and go to get up and go (huh?) and away we went. (even if N1D said "why are you being so lazy?" Thanks, babe, love you too). Felt better after coffee too.

LF had the worst pee day for ages *sigh* but i guess these things happen, especially on "headless chook" day, just to piss me off. HA! Pun intended.

And okay, so I'm an idiot. There's this song I'm hearing a bit lately, which I ADORE, and I thought it was somehting about the only "cowboy in love..." turns out I am so wrong. Turns out to be about the only "cab on the road". Jeez Wayne, am I deaf or what? It's called "Cab" and it's by Train. Well, there you go.

Reminds me of a bunch of songs that I can't sing right to save my life. The best one is probably "Angel of the Morning" where the line goes "just touch my cheek before you leave me", I always sing "Just kick my teeth before you leave me", which is almost a better line anyway!!!

Okay, am really going to bed now. It's 11pm and I'm getting up at 5.30am *sigh* although, on a good note, I finish work at 10am tomorrow, and it's FRIDAY! Woo!

Ok on the song thing, here's one I've heard a million times by people who get it wrong. I honestly have never made this particular mistake as I've known the words all along. The song is Don't Fear The Reaper~I've heard the mistake~Don't Fear The Reefer. Cracks me up every single time.

hehe, had to giggle at the $4. The billing dept I once worked for dealt had a fudge-factor nearer to $1000. Ah, big business in the 80's... such an eye-opening experience.

Nah, I used to search for every penny, and since I was dealing with time and materials, I could usually track down the original invoices and time cards.
