haldoorWork was crap today. Kept making slacko mistakes til I actually hit my head on the desk in frustration! Oww! Earlier I'd spent 40 mins (apparently, though I thought it was shorter, this was noticed & reported back to me by the "Office Martyr") chatting about music with another person in the office (They will put on my tombstone: "Easily Distracted"), who can resist that??? That was a good moment, but it then turned to the above crap! "OM" told me I had extra time to make up (kinda jokingly, I guess) but I said, "Oh, who doesn't muck around sometimes & chat?" and she then had to say "Oh but I always do extra hours, etc". Blah blah, she always has that one on standby. I just said "Oh, yes, the martyr thing" or somesuch, and went back to my crappy work, still having crappymistakeyukkymuttermutter going on... Think I offended her, but she's thickskinned. We'll be buddies again tomorrow... Sorted the problem out with the damn job in hand too by the time I finished for the day, thank the gods.
After work, rushed off to take my Number 2 Daughter (N2D) and some friends from the Enviroschools' committee to another school to look at their environmentally friendly stuff... spent most of the frankly boring hour and a half chasing LF around, who I HAD to take as I didn't have time to arrange for someone else to look after him since the notice about it only came home Monday - or in truth it probably came Fri, but I didn't look in schoolbags then because we were off on our exciting jaunt to the country...sucker that I am, said I could help...
But blah blah blah, this is the crap I get myself into. Just ignore me, I'm venting.... Okay, gotta go start dinner for the kids while I read Eagle's Nest Chapter 63....AAAAHHHHH Sindahise, I love it, thank you SSSOOO much for putting it up when you've enough else to be thinking about... Love Ya!
