Firstly, I'd like to send good wishes to any of my flisters who have been affected by Hurricane Sandy (which, incidentally, was the size of my entire country!), and I hope that you and yours have all kept safe and sound. May the clean-up and everything associated with it happen quickly and without too many issues. *hugs* and I send you as many good vibes as it takes.

Secondly, I apologise for not replying to all your great comments about what sets you crying (on TV/movie screens mostly) but it's been a slightly crazy couple of days for one reason or another and I haven't had time to devote to decent replies yet. Hopefully I'll get my A into G tonight.

Thirdly and finally, today marks the start of my second Photo Project for 2012; a little something I'm doing with my daughters. I'm not sure yet what our assignment is for today, but I have my camera on hand and as soon as N1D lets me know what we're taking pictures of, I'll be off and running. It goes for 30 days, hence beginning it on the First of November (it's here already!) and if you'd like to see the results, let me know here and I'll include you in the filter. If you were in it last time, you're automatically in it again, so if you want out, you can let me know too! ;-)

Thanks for the thoughts. I live in the half of Manhattan that didn't lose power, and I walk to work so I'm feeling very blessed. I sat at work watching the streets downtown fill with water and the subway flood, and wanted to cry. The scale of the damage is almost impossible to describe - it may be worse than Katrina, for property damage.

I'm so glad you're okay and that you kept power. The damage looks phenomenal; it's hard to comprehend how much work will have to be done and how much people have lost. *hugs*
