Wonderful, wonderful Fandom Grammar
Jan. 14th, 2012 03:38 pmHey, all you writers out there! Think you know enough to write well? Everyone can use a hand, even old players, and I'm taking this opportunity to recommend
fandom_grammar, which has helped me so much in the past, and still continues to do so.
They have just posted an article on 'epithets', which is how to describe/name people (not just swear at them!) in your fics. I found the original article extremely helpful when I was new to writing, so I thought I'd pass on the link.
Really though, this comm is awesome at helping out when you have questions about spelling, grammar and all that kind of thing, as well as posting regular articles on common mistakes/confusions in writing, and just generally being a good source for any writing-type queries in this line.

1) We take your questions! There's a link in the profile to the query post, where you can leave your grammar mysteries to be taken up by the grammarians in future posts.
2) F_g will likely be recruiting new grammarians soon, if any grammar nerds want to apply. I'm happy to answer questions about being part of the comm if anyone's curious.
