JESUS! Okay, swearing over.

Just so you know why I'm swearing... I had just about finished this HUGE entry about my favourite female singers (to go with my fave males from some time back, link here, and a further one here)

and I F%$&ing hit the BACK button by mistake... GODDAMMIT. Shitty bastard thing (okay, I lied, I haven't finished swearing) ATE every single bloody word... AAARRRRGGGH! Except the link, which was still in Control C, thank heavens, since it took me about an hour to find the old entry (dickhead that I am).

Now it's almost 11.30, I am SO NOT typing it all up again from memory. FFFF!

Maybe tomorrow? Huh. That's it, I'm going to bed. Don't laugh too hard.

I truly hate it when you lose an entrie you've worked hard to get just like you want it and then *poof* it's gone. The really important ones I write out in my e-mail-save the draft and then paste and click to LJ. I've lost too many entires because of hitting the wrong button or because LJ is on the fritz and loses it for me. If it's not one thing it's another. LOL!

Well, this was the first time I lost so much... I must take to saving elsewhere too. Was a good post (for me, anyway) and no time to re-do yet, dammit! Oh well, worse things happen at sea!

Oh sorry luv. Have done that meself. Have learned to save elsewhere and copy/paste entry. Was sweating bullets over weekend whilst writing: high winds threatened power outages, was hiting save every other word *g*

Thanks, my dear *hugs back*. Oooh, winds, not good. Been V. windy here too, parts of the country dangerously so. Still gusty in Auck., but not quite so horrible as that. El Nino, or La Nina or somesuch. We get that every couple of years or so. Probably the same there?
