Bloody BLOODY bloody....
Oct. 30th, 2005 09:32 pm...frustrating bastards! Okay, it's a complaint (the full half-hour, not the 5 minute job, either!).
AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Needed to get that out. Feel minutely better now.
You may or may not recall me having a rant a while back because I settled down to watch "El Mariachi" from "dvd unlimited", who ever-so-kindly post dvd's out to me (like the US Netflix thingy), only to find it was the director's commentary version... so I sent it back (well, did watch it, was quite interesting) so they could send me the ACTUAL movie for free (which they agreed to).
Today, I was all excited thinking I had "X-Men" to watch... *sigh* Turns out they sent me "X2", which I saw the start of on Sky a few weeks back, but as I hadn't seen "X-men" yet (bloody Sky *muttermutter* haven't seen fit to play it recently), I didn't go on with it as I thought I'd get the first one out and gawk at it first.
So... to cheer meself up, I get out "El Mariachi" from the pack, which had come at the same time, and WHAT??? It's the bloody commentary version again!
FUCKIN' dvd unlimited! F'gawd's sake, are they all imbeciles? I've now sent another e-mail to complain, and I'm giving them ONE MORE CHANCE. Bastards. If they don't get it right this time, I'm cancelling the subscription. Which will be a bastard to me too, actually, because there's quite a few things coming up that I do want to see *whimper*, including "Firefly", which isn't at our local video shop *grinds teeth*.
*deep breath in, deep breath out*
There. Feel much better now I've said all that. And...
...the good thing out of it is that "The Two Towers" is on regular TV right now, and I'm perving at that in the background as I type... *grin*

Date: 2005-10-30 01:17 pm (UTC)Turn off the sound and write yourself a slashy dialog to go with the whole thing.

Date: 2005-10-31 08:17 am (UTC)1/ slash access... why did my first thought become "what guy needs slash access in prsion, he'd be getting enough 'slash' action himself?" (never mind that I'm not actually a guy!)
2/ The dialogue idea truly cracked me up! I must do that one day! Actually they used to do this on "Who's Line is it Anyway" with old movies, it'd be so much more fun with a friend! Must keep it in mind for an activity for the PMS tour 2010!
