Please send your wishes
Nov. 22nd, 2010 08:47 amAnd this is a separate entry because it just didn't go with my last one.
NZ has just suffered our own trapped miners issue. A coal mine in the South Island had an explosion on Friday night; two miners escaped, but 29 more are trapped. They don't know if the men are still alive, but hope is less than good, because there is gas filling it. They have been waiting for gas levels to reduce, and today are halfway through drilling down to near where the men are believed to be so they can check on gas levels there before doing anything further.
Please send all your good wishes (and prayers if you do such things) and safe rescue vibes down to NZ today if you can. I'm not expecting such a good outcome as the one in Chile recently, but I do hope there is some chance. I also heard a similar explosion happened in China this weekend and I'm sending as many spare vibes as I can over there too.
