Crazy show that it is... I still love watching all the action and wait eagerly to find out what the 'answers' are (if they ever tell us), although must admit, I'm pretty shallow and just enjoy the slashy subtext and the pretty guys for the most part! I'd love them to get more serious about the slash (I'm sure the writers are well aware of the slashy fanficcers out there!) but being American, I can't ever imagine they'd allow any of their male leads to turn out gay or bi, which is such a pity. I'm sure the show would go cult if they ever got brave enough.
Fanfiction - mainly in Lost - is where I started my LJ career, although I love original fiction too, naturally. I've been having fun in the Lost world for some time, and find there's a real wealth of talented writers in the fandom, which I'm sure is what's kept me in it so long!
I hope you do stay around! I don't have enough Southern hemispherean friends! We need to balance out all the Americans sometimes! (much as I love my US LJ friends!)
