Because I've been good!

haldoorJust wanted to do a quick post to show that I don't spend ALL my time on the computer (esp. in EN RPG). Now, that's ironic, huh? That I have to do a post to show that...
Oh, and it's Sept 11, so I'm having a personal 1 min silence for those that were lost 4 years ago. *closes eyes*
Anyway, yesterday, I:
1/ scrubbed our bathroom thoroughly (including the shower, which really doesn't get this attention often enough) from top to bottom (-ish, didn't actually do the ceiling)
2/ cleared out a basket of MONTHS worth of "stuff that needs attending to" (lesson: if you leave the basket long enough, some of the stuff no longer needs attending to because it's expired, been taken care of elsehow {is that a word?}, or is no longer relevent, so it's worth the delay!). ;-)
Both of these things were long and time consuming things to do, so didn't get to the RPG til after 2pm. Then it seems I wasn't hugely needed, and couldn't think of a thing to say anyhow. So spent 3 hours fluffing around on MSN and LJ instead... hmm. Also went back later and re-read the great comedy routine that is old MSN messages when at least three people are trying to talk and post on an RPG. Hilarious!
Today, I have:
1/ cleared all the crap out of two huge boxes of "just thrown in cos no-one picked it up" from my daughters' bedroom, sorted it and threw the rest in the rubbish. Before you say, why didn't you get them to do it, try this for an answer - because this way, SOME of it ends up in the rubbish.
2/ Changed the sheets on ALL the beds in our house - weehoo!
3/ Put away the heater (spring is here!!!) and tidied up the wardrobe I was putting it into
4/ Hung out a full load of washing!!!
OMG! That's actually 6 "chores" on a weekend!!! Will miracles never cease? And now I feel perfectly allowed to spend 2 & 1/2 hours here doing assorted things. This one is done, and now I'm going to see if Tiger has any demon-possessed posts to share with the rest of the RPG. Now, I know I'm supposed to already know this, but damned if I do. I am leaving it all to instinct and whatever hits me when I get there. So if it's crap, you've been warned!
This, btw, is in lieu of good things this week. I had lots in my head, but the computer ate my brain. Also, got stuck perving at gorgeous pictures of Hugh Jackman on Thursday, and never quite recovered (or maybe that's the same thing!)! *sticks out tongue*
