Excellent day so far. Since I've reached the age of "The Answer", I was hoping to have some, but so far can't come up with any, sorry! Perhaps I just can't get the Question right either... oh well!

The kids let me sleep in til 8.30, that in itself is about the best birthday present you could give a mother on a Sunday! Then a cuppa in bed, followed by my present, "Pirates of the Carribbean" on dvd (special 2disc set too!), and a bit later - an excellent brunch.

We went shopping and I found two nice summer shirts (not that I shall be wearing them for a while, but couldn't find anything for the current season that I liked). Would've liked some new pants or a skirt for work, but no such luck of course. Never mind, I like the shirts and they make me feel like winter will finish SOON!

I'm about to turn on POTC and have a drool session, so just as well it's suitable for kids! Let's just hope they're not as damn noisy as last time I tried to see it! Lots of yummy food to indulge in - coffee cake, afgan biscuits, chocolate, and licorice allsorts! Sounds good! Later, it's roast chicken, then orange choc-chip icecream for dessert, so it's all good!

Going to watch "Mystic River" on Sky tonight, so I won't be going into the RPG. Don't think Tiger will be missed yet, unless that Monday meeting gets too far ahead of me! I'll just make him "fashionably late" if so!

So, hope you all had, or are still having, good weekends! Catch up with you soon! Thanks to the Gods of Birthdays for making mine a good one (and the sun even shone, too!)! *Blows out far too many candles and falls over out of breath*

Thanks!

Sorry i didn't get into the game quicker... you were a pro with me when I finally made it though, thanks, darlin'. Now, don't be too angry with Tiger when you find out he delivered the envelope....

Real Life does that to us, doesn't it? I haven't had near the time I would like on the game...last night was quite the exception.

I don't think Eagle will be angry...in fact, he may never find out. But even if he does, I have a feeling that his anger will be directed towards a certain other person. grrrrrr....

Hugs you!

Pity really, huh?

And, Eagle should get the finger-prints done! It would be such fun to make furr & feathers fly if he finds out and tells Raven too! Someone wanting to bang Tiger's head on the wall would make for an interesting thread, y'know? AND, I really really want to ram Raven against the wall, his anger would make such a fine excuse *grins evilly*

*hugs you back*

The envelope is so tainted now, but Eagle still wants to find out. I just don't know what "they" have planned for him...I have a little inkling. *sigh*

I really really want to ram Raven against the wall

Nobody loves my Raven... *cries*

Honey, you completely misunderstand why I want to ram Raven up against the wall... I was laughing so hard when I read "Nobody loves my Raven" (not at you, but that you'd read me wrong!)

Here's a hint: I wanna ram him against the wall and do naughty things to him!

Whew! Glad to hear it. I've been getting so many "glares at Raven" these days, I'm just paranoid. LOL

I'm going to be gone this weekend, but [livejournal.com profile] whitewizzy will be resuming her duties as Raven, hopefully today, now that she's back from vacation.

You two take care of each other, while Eagle is gone. *throws daggers at Marton*

*hugs* don't be paranoid! (but just cos you are doesn't mean they're not out to get you)

Yay for whitewizzy!

Oh, don't you worry, I will do my best to take care of Karl *grins evilly, but not in a Marton kind of way*

Happy B-day, sweetie :) I realize I'm a bit late, I forgot where you live-

*giggles*
I is so weird you saying winter is over soon, we are just getting autumn here...

You are so sweet yourself! Glad to see you back around. I'm looking forward to trying for a snog with Raven sometime, even if these days a punch from Raven is more likely (well, will be once he finds out about Tiger being delivery-boy!)

Yeah, I bet! We're used to being backwards with everyone else's seasons though, so it's easy for me to imagine the warmth over there!

Hope your hol was lovely btw, where'd you go?

Hope this isn't too weird but I wanted to wish you happy birthday - only just got an lj account but I have been reading the Eagles Nest RPG for a while. Just too chicken to come out of lurkerdom:) Until now!!!

Just wanted to say that I love your writing on the RPG - Tiger is seriously hot and you write him wonderfully. I have only just seen the Lost two-part opener...my first glimpse of Josh Holloway in the 'flesh' so to speak.

Words fail me *grins*

My god, that accent...he's gorgeous!!

Thanks for your wishes, I'm so pleased I had a little something to do with you coming out of lurkerdom! *snicker*

Thank you also for your compliments! This is my first foray into writing in the public domain, so I'm very gratified to find people like what I'm doing with Tiger. [livejournal.com profile] sindahise has given us some fantastic characters to work with!

Glad you like Josh as much as I do. We've had the whole first series here already, so I had a headstart on many! I'm totally in love, more so since becoming Tiger! *smiles inanely*

I got seriously hooked on Eagle's Nest and Sindahise is a wonderful author....just blown away by her talent. Now there's the RPG and I get more wonderful stuff to read...it's fantastic. All of you authors do a great job.

You've seen all of Lost already???

What happens?

NO NO....DON'T TELL ME...JUST KIDDING;)

Josh is damned sexy though...what IS IT about those bad boys? *grins*

From: [identity profile] haldoor.livejournal.com
Oh yeah, Sinda's great! Thanks agin for the compliments!

Yup, seen it all. Just hanging around waiting for next year now! *sniff* Missing Josh though! My weekly dose is gone!

Nah, won't tell, nuhhuh. But... it's a cliffhanger!

Yeah, sexy as! Bad boys? Well, I say he's got a softer side, he's a poor little lost boy, and that's part of the appeal, the bluster, then the side you wanna pick up and cuddle out of his problems! Have you seen his flashback yet?

Date: 2005-08-19 01:33 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] morgaine-71.livejournal.com
Just about to watch the first ep after the pilot...is the flashback in this one? Intrigued to see that I can tell you;)

I like characters that rub the others up the wrong way and Josh's does it very well. And what's up with that Korean couple? That's just odd:)

But no odder than having a chuffing polar bear on a tropical island!!! At the end of it am I going to be sitting here saying 'Huh?' or 'Aaaaarrgghhgh?' Or both?:)

Date: 2005-08-19 07:50 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] haldoor.livejournal.com
No, his flashback takes a while as I recall. You will understand what I mean about little boy lost when you see it anyway!

Oh yes, he can rub them up the wrong way VERY easily. Just wait til you see the torture scene with Sayid, and oh, I liked the "I Never" game with Kate too, mmhmm. "Never kissed a man" indeed!

The Koreans will be explained in due course, my friend!

Probably both, I'm pretty sure, tis very Swiss Family Robinson meets the X-Files to some extent!

Date: 2005-08-19 09:52 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] morgaine-71.livejournal.com
I'm definitely WAY intrigued now;) I like the analogy...Swiss Family Robinson meets The X Files...that made me laugh but it's about right!!!

If the box set was available here now I'd buy it and watch it all in one go......it takes too long *whines* Then I could freeze frame those lovely dimples of Josh's. *slobber*

I need help *hangs head*

From: [identity profile] haldoor.livejournal.com
Oh, it's definitely the best description I can think of!

Oh, you'll get there. Where are you?

No, no, you don't. Because if you do, then I need MORE help. I'm way far more gone *snicker*

Date: 2005-08-20 12:37 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] morgaine-71.livejournal.com
That's true actually because you've had more 'exposure' to The Dimpled One *grins*

It's that loooong body...he moves sort of like a tiger...funny that *winks*

I'll be in a bad way by the time Lost has finished here. But I can't wait *evil laugh a la Dr Evil*

Date: 2005-08-20 08:24 pm (UTC)
From: [identity profile] haldoor.livejournal.com
Yeah, you can kinda see why [livejournal.com profile] sindahise decided Josh would be Tiger in Eagle's Nest, cant ya?

It's never a bad way to have been completely obliterated by obsession for pretties, honestly, it isn't. I should know, I've been in trouble for years otherwise!

It will give me something to aspire too, yes?;)

Got this whole southern hemisphere thing going on at the moment...Marton Csokas, Karl Urban, Hugh Jackman and the sex on legs that is Eric Bana. What the hell is in the water down there?

They should bottle it....they'd make a bloody fortune;)

Oh, they do, believe me... but don't think they sell it outside of NZ, sorry! *grins*. Not sure about Australia, but hell, they visit here often enough, most of 'em, so bound to drink a bit of our water too *snicker*!

B-day sounded terrific. I also have POTC and have watched many times but for different reasons, Johnny D is just so damn amusing. I missed the drool boat on Orlando somehow. I know what it is he's JUST TOO YOUNG haha....

I wish you the best for the coming year my dear!
