Thanks for filling me in on the OE. And yes you must travel again when the kids get bigger. It so hard to go far when they are littleish. I would not want to travel internationally with three youngsters in tow. Perhaps on the 'won't poo in the loo' problem you could give him a radio or something while he's in ther or some special toy he can play with only at that time as a treat to look forward to when going to do his thing.
