Oh, yes, yes, yes and more yes! I have so many things I could say to all that! Unfortunately, I'm a bit pressed for time with going away for a school camp all of next week... so I'm just putting this in so you know I haven't forgotten you! I'm going to do my best to answer some of the comments you've made that seem to want or need answers, but I may just switch to e-mail if you don't mind, and it will be a week or more before I get there now! Oh, and the one thing I'll point you at is my fic: haldoor_honey is where I house all my fic, and all the fanfic is open, so feel free to browse around the tags or even the memories, although I'm not sure memories are up to date... and as I tend to write a lot of AU anyway, I don't think there's much you can't read without being spoiled for halfway thru S5 Lost. (AU being situation or rescue many times rather than on-island, not exactly wild and fantastical worlds!).
There's also a bit of orig fic there, but that's locked to friends only (and I only friend people who really want to read it, due to my hope to someday publish some of it), but certainly, if you're interested, I'd friend you there! I do warn you though, the longer one that's complete, End of the Innocence is very long (71 chapters; 186,000 words!)and I am trying to work on editing it down to re-post it for ah_gayfiction and perhaps the possibility of publication... It's not fantasy - which is something I thought I would be writing! - but a love story (set in the USA! So much for write what you know!) between two teenagers (and another two who get caught in the crossfire), set in the eighties, and so may not be your cup of tea so much anyway. It's all up and down and angst and sex right now, but I aim to try and shorten and tidy it up to be less all over the place and explicit... and God knows what else! I did have a lot of positive reactions from my reader-friends, but I know for the style it needs to be shorter and perhaps less sexual. Ah... so much for the quick reply!
