... but I'm still alive. Computer was naughty this week, had to take it to Comp. Guy (CG) to be fixed. Took it Monday, didn't get it back til Thursday aft, so of course EN RPG went wild without me. Still haven't caught up on the reading, but at least I got Tiger to Austria. ;-)

Saw "Troy" again last weekend, so felt the need to post this pic I found somewhere in google, apologies to the source (which I now forget)! Looks good though, huh?

And if you have any interest in my other ups and downs,

The rest of my life seems to have had it's ups and downs, culminating in the field trip with N1D's school gymnastics class on Friday. Totally boring... Had LF with me, and thought it would be two hours at most, but it stretched to much longer, and he was not enjoying it. It was hard to see what was going on, the venue was small and crammed, they didn't tell us half of what was going on, and we ended up waiting outside in the HOT (for Sept here) sun for too long (never thought I would be complaining about the sun at this time of the year...). Finally, in desperation to keep LF happy, I walked back to the car with him and we wandered around the soccer field we were parked next to. Much nicer. He ran about and I let the breeze blow through my hair and thought about Tiger's problems. Ahh, to live in the RPG!

But, the good news was N1D's group (4 of them) got medals for 2nd place overall (I missed prizegiving due to LF walking), which was spiffy! ;-)

Was totally zonked by the time I got home, partly due to boredom and partly due to staying up til 1am the night before to catch up with RPG, then getting woken up by LF at 5.30am! The one morning I could sleep til 7am cos of going on the field trip for school instead of starting work at 6.30am, which I usually do on Fridays! Typical.

Anyway, had a nice afternoon's posting (should have been sleeping, but let Hubby - who came home early from work with a headache - and LF do that) then after school stuff we got McD's for dinner (no hard work for the parents), and more posting later. Talk about obsessed... yes, I still am.

Today, I have finally managed to catch up on what my flist has been doing while I've been looking the other way, and I even managed to read a few fics. Yay!

Joined a dvd rental place which mails out this week too, so already got three movies to watch. Thought I'd give "Alexander" another airing just for the Alex/Heph angst, and "The Abyss" (yes, I'm still working thru the A's), and I got "Boondock Saints" which some people, who shall remain nameless but know who they are, have been recommending to me! This was a good week to join up as I had nothing else to do while my comp. was away. So watched the third movie (BDS) one night, and half of the first (Alex) another night.

"Boondock Saints" was everything and more! Thanks guys, glad I got it! Just a tad violent, but very slashy, and humorous too! Can't wait for the sequel, and the fics I've read so far are great!

Having a slight September depression tonight... spring shouldn't be about that, but it hits me sometimes, not sure why. Last night was good, full of laughs on MSN with Hawk and Lobo, but tonight my muse has left me, so feeling a bit off. Oh well, tomorrow will be better, though I don't think our guys are going anywhere until after the weekend. Probably just as well, I still have a lot of reading to catch up on in the RPG, no idea what half of the others are doing...

Oh, nearly forgot. Wrote a small fic about Karl finding out about slash, thanks to something [livejournal.com profile] kaige68 said. Hand-written though, so not typed up yet. Might post it when I have done so, no promises as to speed or quality. Not feeling much like it's any good right now... *moan moan groan, feels sorry for self*

Sorry if it's sometimes a slightly depressing bitsy post, and no good things as such this week (tho' some of the above qualifies... BDS, etc!). Anyway, will finish up with...

Special Thanks Department:
--------------------------

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] kaige68, [livejournal.com profile] dubh_ceol and [livejournal.com profile] blueskydancers for their e-mails this week while I was out of commission at home! Your e-mails, which I could read at work, kept me sane!

Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] sindahise for being message carrier to and from the RPG for me.

And thanks for the patience of my co-writers there at the moment, namely [livejournal.com profile] legomyarrow and [livejournal.com profile] daniko, who waited patiently at the helo pad, and have managed to put up with my insane ramblings (mainly on MSN, but some on RPG too) since rejoining them!

Oh, and finally, I should thank my Hubby for allowing me to go completely apeshit with my comp. since I got it back with only ONE argument about over-use... ;-)
