Weather Weird

Here it is, November. Did no-one tell the weather gods that this means it's supposed to be warm in NZ? last night was freezing after the wild winds and driving rain! I was really glad I hadn't swapped the winter duvet or put away the extra blanket the other week when I took the electric blankets off our bed. And I was still cold... tried snuggling up to the Hubby (men are always warmer) but he kept moving away. That would be why we both ended uup on his half of the bed by this morning. Dammit, he's not a natural cuddler.

And then, today, as I'm driving to work... not a whisper of wind to be seen, and it's looking like a reasonable day, though there's still cloud about, so it may fool me yet. Considering all the wind damage mentioned on the news last night, I cannot understand it. Still cold though, but that could just be because it's the usual setting of the a/c here at work: Antarctica.

Okay, work calls. Been here for an hour and a half, done nothing. After yesterday, I really had better do something with the two hours I have left. Thank God for getting ahead earlier in the week.

Note to self: Don't forget to stop and buy stamps for the Christmas cards on the way home!

yeah, lots of weird weather all over, by the sounds!

And I did see your post when i was cruisin' thru LJ this morn (at work, sssshhhh!) but I wasn't posting too many comments, didn't want to be in too long! The girl from Ipanaema of all things! Da da da da da da da!

Hi. *raises hand* I believe you have my weather? Wind & rain is what we should be getting, but it's so mild out that I've not done up my coat in 2 days -- so then my coat gets all rucked up under the shoulder strap of my immensely heavy bookbag and is damned uncomfortable.

Here, have it back! *hands it over* I want sun, dammit!!! *grin*

I'd love to have it back -- fall's my favourite season! I love the wind and the rain and the unpredictability. You can have the boring old sun! :P Actually, I don't mind sun, but summer's over now (here) so, I want something else.

Indeed, and why shouldn't you have a little variety? I want some too, after all! We've had the cold, tis time for something new!

Yeah, having the crazy weather in Tennessee, USA as well. Had long sleeves and a coat on earlier in the week, today it's 79 degrees and I'm in a tee shirt. As for the cuddling factor, the only thing I've got right now is a cranky chihuahua dog who likes to sleep behind my butt--and if you move too much he bites you right on the cheek. Oh well, at least my ass is warm.

Yay for warm asses! (I do like donkeys...), but I'm laughing anyway! I hope you don't get bit too often!

The weather is being odd here too. Very warm today, almost record highs, very humid. Not like November should be for us at all, more like early September. Oh well it'll change tomorrow, literally, we have a cool front coming in. :)

Oh, very odd-like! I just hope it gets warmer here for us soon, anyway!

Warmer for you, cooler for us, it's all good. *hugs*
