Awwwwww! Poor little thing. Makes you wanna scream "Just give me my porn e-mail and shut the hell up!" doesn't it?
I have e-mail addresses all over the place that I use for different things. Hotmail for me has some advertising but it lets you change how many e-mails you get to see at a time and has more storage than I ever need. The perk that I like is that if you use it for MSN it will give you little notes at the bottom corner of your screen that you are "receiving mail from kaige68@hotmail.com". It has it's moments when it doesn't want to play nice, but they are few enough for me. The spam filter is not spectacular and it doesn't let you set the color. Those are honestly my only issues with it. If Yahoo has advertising I don't notice it. Yahoo (if you are signed into YIM) is the one that pops up with the little line in the corner that says "From:Kaige Subj:Jeremy is...REALLY happy to see you", and you know how much I need that! Storage is more than I need. It lets you change the appearance slightly to colors that may appeal to you and it will allow me to start typing in the To: field and show me the list of people in my address book that match the letters typed (which is why I don't remember e-mail addresses anymore :)). I have to say that it's rare for it to not play nice, but on the occasion that it doesn't work, it doesn't work for HOURS. It's got a better spam filter than hotmail. Gmail is on par with Yahoo. Again if there is advertising, I don't notice it. I don't use the account much, it's basically what I use for online/catalog shopping. It doesn't ever pop up and tell me that I have new mail, but it's simple to use, it's good with spam, and I can see my whole inbox on one screen.
